Funny Story:
Tonite johns back was hurting so I asked Levi if he would pray for daddy with me. He came over and laid hands on John's back just like me. Levi kept telling me "this is where it hurts". He repeated after me "Jesus make daddy's back feel better." Then he pulled johns shirt up as we prayed to touch his back where it hurt. John said "Um, he's poking something on my back". So I looked at where he was poking and told Levi it was a mole. He said "We need to pick it!?" I told him no we didn't. John and I busted up laughing. He is definitely my child.

Levis First Day of Preschool

Levi was potty trained for 3 months and then he decided no more of that business. So I couldn't put him in the preschool in a friends' home like I wanted. Instead, I found a Jr. Preschool that doesn't require him to be potty trained. Levi is quite is pistol. He is stubborn but so sweet. He has a plan and he intends to work that plan. His favorite responses these days are "Never!!" and "Nope!!". Both said very emphatically!!!

We headed to the North Pole Sunday and it was so much fun!! Both boys could go on most of the rides!! It was beautiful weather!! Levi loved all the rides. Even the fast ones!!

I found these pictures from a couple months ago on my moms camera. It is rare for me to have a picture with one of the boys. Here we are at the airport in AZ, sitting in Levi's carseat, waiting for my dad to pick us up!!

Last week the 3 of us were playing with this little ball machine and Levi decided we needed to hold hands as we watched the fun.

For Mother's Day we surprised mom and took her skydiving. She and Kyle have always talked about going. Mom didn't know until we pulled up and she saw the Skydiving sign. She almost wet her pants!!

After skydiving we went to a park and played games and hung out. It was a perfect day.

On the way home Levi napped. I don't understand his fascination with always chewing and sucking on his dog's nose.

Schwarz has finally lost his little black nose for good. Putting Super Glue on it only lasted for so long.

John surprised me and took out for a wonderful night after we got back!!

I recently learned that Levi is a snuggler. He didn't used to be. If I start out the day snuggling with him on the couch and asking him to sit on my lap throughout the day - the day is much more pleasant!!

We finally are with the Kennedys in North Carolina. John's sister and her family hadn't met Zane yet!! Levi loved the beach.

I do think he got spoiled on vacation. Now to break those habits just in time to go out of town again in a few days.

He's worth it though. Like when I fell asleep next to his crib because every time I tried to get back in bed he started crying the instant I got snuggled in. So I slept next to his crib and when he woke up crying 15 minutes later I was so out of it I couldn't find his crib right next to me. Sleepy times. :-)

We had fun in AZ for the last week and a half. This trip was a wake up call for me though. Ever since I was little my family has gone to AZ several times a year. My parents have a home there and we love to sleep, eat, swim, shop, golf and relax. It has always been like a time warp - you go there and never want to come home. Well this trip with a toddler and an infant was a wake up call for me. Before John and I were married I would go with a couple families as a nanny on their trips and watch their kids when they wanted to go out. I now fully understand that. We needed a nanny, bad. A "family vacation" is not a vacation - it's a trip that takes even more work than usual. We did have lots of fun though and it was so nice to have my parents help out while there. Here are some of the fun pictures!!

Levi was having fun kicking and getting wet before going swimming.

Levi is usually so sweet and smiley but the last half of the trip he was a pistol. Definitely strong willed with his own agenda.

John reminded me several times that he gets it from me.

Maybe he gets his cuteness from me too then? Something good other than the tantrums I threw as a toddler?

How can such a cutie be such a stinker?

Zane is pretty fun to take pictures of these days...he is cute and actually cooperative.

I will run around after Levi for 10 minutes and get maybe one halfway decent picture of his cuteness.

Today my little blue eyed babe was putting on a good show for the camera.

These days Levi's favorite phrase is "No mom" and then running away.

We went to the park today and the boys had lots of fun.

Thankful for such sweet smiles and joyful hearts.

We've had Levi's twin bed in the garage forever. Since we couldn't find a black bed my brother found us a white one and I painted it. We finally got the crib taken apart and the new bed set up!! Levi loves the airplane on his bedspread!! You cant see the bed in these pictures because we turned the footboard up against the wall until he is used to not being in his crib.

We were supposed to head to Missouri to be with John's family but a storm came through Colorado, Kansas and then head the way we would have been driving. It wasn't easy to decide if we should still try to make the drive! The day we would've left there were 3 people killed on the Interstate we would have been driving on - the next 2 days a total of 14 people were killed. While we were thankful we made the right decision it was so sad not to see John's family!! John's sister and her family haven't met Zane yet - so that was a huge bummer to miss them!!

I don't think I've posted any pictures of Levi since the unfortunate incident that is his haircut. I am not happy about it. But it is growing. That is all I have to say about that.

Every year a family friend has an amazing Christmas Party that our family attends. This year it was black tie. You don't realize how much fun it is to get dressed up and have your man in a tux until you get the chance to do it again!! The girls had fun getting ready together! It was a fun night out!! The host has an amazing home that is decorated to the max - and has tons of amazing food to eat throughout the night!

Other than "mom" and "daddy" Levi hasn't decided to say anyone's name yet...except for Uncle Kyle!! He will say "Ky-yo" anytime Kyle ISN'T around - so Kyle has never heard Levi say it!! Oh yeah, I forgot that Levi's new name for his daddy is "John".

Zane is a favorite among the moms when I go to MOPS. The number one word they all use to describe Zane is "yummy". And he is!!

Zane is the sweetest baby. He rarely cries - and when he does it almost breaks my heart because it's so rare.

He is very laid back and content.

Both Levi and Zane have the same sweet, joyful spirit.

One thing I have prayed since high school is that my home and the streets we live on would be filled with "joy,laughter and dancing" - I love our boys joyful hearts!

He is getting so big now!! It's hard to believe he was only 4 lbs. 3 months ago!!
